There are many natural and cultural things to see and experience like beautiful villages with bee-hive system houses, typical culture, tradition and lifestyle of mountain people, yak and sheep caravan in the mountain slopes, pasturelands and river valleys, alpine forest, wonderful views of the Changla Himal, Gorakh Himal, Chala Himal, Chanki Lek and Chandi Himal (silver mountain), glacial valleys, hanging glacier and icefalls, high country flora and fauna etc. The highest elevation is about 5000m and the trail follows gradually up the river valley but the every campsite is not recorded with elevation.

Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu (1310m), hotel

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu, fly to Nepalgunj, hotel

Day 03: Fly to Simikot (2700m), hike to Dojam Chaur (2470m), traditional villages, classic culture, camp

Day 04: Dojam Chaur - Okhar Bari (2880) along Dojam Khola, landscape and lifestyle, camp by bridge

Day 05: Okharbari - Kharchin Khola Sain (3660m), waterfalls, hanging icefalls, glaciers, grasslands, camp

Day 06: Sain - Changla Glacier (4150m), mysterious valley, wolf, snow leopard, wild horse, wild yak, camp

Day 07: Explore Changla Base camp (4890m) mysterious valleys, rare flora/fauna, wolf, snow leopard, camp

Day 08: Explore hidden valley, magical Himalaya panorama, rare wildlife; wild horse, wild yak, camp  

Day 09-11: Hike back to Dojam on the same way, beautiful landscape, classic culture, typical lifestyle, camp

Day 12: Dojam - Bargaon - Simikot, traditional villages, typical lifestyle, camp

Day 13: Fly to Nepalgunj then fly to Kathmandu, hotel

Day 14: Rest day in Kathmandu, farewell Nepali lunch with host family, hotel

Day 15: Program over, fly back home


Detailed Trip Cost

Entire trip cost per person (USD):    $2,999 (including restricted area permit)

1pax complimentary for above 10 paid guests in group

Trip cost includes:
All accommodation (twin sharing basis) & food; three meals a day -breakfast, lunch and dinner (except bar bill), insured crew (guide, porters, donkeys, dzopa, yaks and necessary kitchen crew for camping trek), all essential permits, all domestic transportation as per the itinerary, service charge and government taxes.

Trip cost does not include:
Personal expenses (like laundry, communication, alcohol, cold drinks and bottled water during trekking), gratuity to serving crew, emergency evacuation, international airfare, visa, your travel insurance and any kind of gifts and donation.

Payment system

  • 80% of total trip budget must be paid in advance (the amount should be appeared to our account just two weeks before the trips) for domestic airline tickets, permits, hotel bookings reconfirmation and essential preparations.
  • Balance can be paid before or during/after the trip.

Refund system
In case of trip cancellation in the last 10 days of group arrival, 50% of the deposited amount will be deducted. If the trip cancels 10 days before the group arrival, we settle the full amount in next trip.
